Earth Hour 2009 - tomorrow 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm Don't Forget!!!


Hi, Don't forget tomorrow (28 March 2009), 8.30pm to 9.30pm is Earth Hour, so lets try to do our bits!

Dunno what to do, no worries. There are some programs organised by WWF that you can take part for free.

Green Carnival & 'Blackout'

Earth Hour: Join us (WWF) for a candlelight picnic on 28.03.09
Bring your picnic rug and food basket to enjoy a simple and fun time with us, as we witness the first ever blackout of buildings in Singapore!
Date: 28th March 2009
Time: 5:00pm-9:30pm
Admission is Free

Programme:
5:00pm: Exhibition of green initiatives and technologies by organizations, schools, and NGOs
7:00pm: Performances
8:00pm: Opening ceremony, and countdown to Earth Hour
8:30pm: Blackout!*Hosted by Gold 90.5FM DJs and performances by Reverie, Dawn Ho,Michaela Therese & Wynne Sandosham of Soul Circle*
9:30pm: Lights on! Closing speech.

(Do not worry if you can't find time to pack snacks for the picnic. We have food booths and drinks available for all who come for the event!)

Don't like outdoor perfer indoor, no problem. Late night shopping in malls such as Centrepoint, Orchard Cineleisure, Wisma Atria, Paragon etc. Wisma has Earth Hour activities too.

Even my house nearby Bedok CC supports this and having an event for the residents from 7pm to 9.30pm.
So dun forget and Go Green!!!
