Marks & Spencer Sale

Are you a fan of Marks and Spencer?  My sister is.  Currently Marks & Spencer is having sale.  Never really been to its sales.  Too bad Tampines don't have M&S or else can go and take a look.

Looking for nursing bar top.  Any idea where to get cheap one?  I tried to find at G Market but mostly sold out.  Wonder H&M still got or not.

Today just bought my son for his long over due injection.  He finally complete all his injections before my second baby comes out.  Worry he will have fever.  Praying for the best.

Cheers.

Night skin care regime

My night regime is much simpler as I need to entertain my son.  So usually I will try to simplify as much as I can.  After removing makeup, will be cleanser and toner.

For cleanser, please look at my morning cleanser.  So after cleanser for night, off and on I will use toner.  I know I should use it daily but sometimes laziness wins.  Toner is very important as it helps to clean the last bits of dirt from your face.  Ok I will try to use it more often and during my confinement, I will use it as I will wash less face during the period.  Currently, I am using Kiehl's Calendula Herbal Extract Toner.

Not very sure whether it is really effective but quite like its herbal scent.

Then I will apply a serum or oil.  On hand I have Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate and Kenzoki Face Phenomenon Deep Moisturizing Serum.  Actually last time I am always very lazy to apply products at night.  Mainly due to laziness and forgetfulness but when my skin was so tight during my first and second trimester, I remember to do so.  So now I still try to keep this habit.  Sometimes I still skip it to let my skin breath for a night.

Initially I don't really like Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate.

I find it oily and messy.  Even thought it does absorb to my combin skin after a while.  However I find it rather useful for dry skin.  Really keep dry skin plump.  No wonder my mum like it so much.  I almost finish my bottle during my first and second trimester.  Of course the scent is wonderful with lavender.

Kenzoki Face Phenomenon Deep Moisturizing Serum has refreshing scent and works for all skin type.

I got it real cheap from its office sales as last time my office is at Great World City, where a number of the beauty brands are there.  So when they having office sales, there will be notification.  Usually during these office, it will be long queues so must go early.  Miss those days.

Cheers.

Cheap mobile phone and Uniqlo promotion

My current hand phone is my husband old HTC model, which is going to down soon.  Very slow and insensitive.  Usually my mobile contract is for my husband to buy hand phone that he will like to try and thus my contract is still on going.  So cannot change a new hand phone.  Actually I am quite easy with hand phone.  As long can take and store many quality picture, surf net, check email, call and check bus application.

Saw this advertisement, thought it is quite a good hand phone for this budget and some more without a contract.

Less than $200 if you pre-order it before 30 April 2014.  Had ask my husband to pre-order for me, don't know will get it or not.  Only con is that it does not have radio.  Hope the camera is as good as my current one.  In the ad, it mentioned there is red but when my husband registers, no more red.  Sad.

By 1st of May will know, keep you update on the status.

By the way, Uniqlo is having promotion for its normal and Airism bra top from now till 29 April.  Price range from $14.90 to $19.90.

Now I am more busty so I carry it better.  Bought black and white.  Still thinking of whether to get more color but don't think so, save money.  Will try soon and hope it is as good as it stated.

Happy weekend.  Cheers.

Night Skincare Regime

At night, I will still use a makeup remover to remove all trace of impurities for the day.  Currently, I am using Nivea Visage Pure & Natural Cleansing Lotion and Blum Naturals Thick Towelettes.

I find Nivea Visage Cleansing Lotion cheap and good.

Price around $8.  Considering there is no parables and silicones.  Easy to use.

Whereas Blum Naturals Thick Towelettes is more for convenient especially when I am taking care of my son alone.

No mess.  I got different skin types packs from iherb.  Tried them but cannot really tell the different.  All clean up quite well and don't really dry the skin after usage.  Each packet less than $10.  However once open must use it asap as it will dry up.  I tried MAC wipes of 50, some of the wipes were quite dry at the ending.

Find it so so.  Prefer Blum Naturals.  Don't think will buy again as to cut cost and not much make up.

Share with you my mistake, thought this Desert Essence Natural Tea Tree Oil Facial Cleansing Pads is a makeup remover but don't think so.

A bit too strong for my liking.  So now I use to wipe my husband's back when there is pimple.  Don't waste.

Anyway today Wastons is having one day member sales but too lazy to go.  Plus must queue.  Now I am so huge and get tire easily so rather slack at home even though the weather is so hot.

Cheers.

Mango's Deal

This Mango cross body bag looks not bad but a bit small or else I might make use of this deal.  Not that I got stuff to buy from Mango.  But quite a good deal if you like this bag.

Still looking for a cross body bag but have not find one that suit my budget.  Actually I wanted to buy a bag from Asos but it was out of stock.  Sad.  So currently using my existing bag from Pretty Fit but slightly too big and heavy for what I am looking.

Anyway maybe I can use it and spoil it so that I can clear some old stuff from my cupboard.

Happy long weekend.  Happy Good Friday and Easter!

Cheers.

Morning last skin regime (continue) - Sun protection

For my sun protection, I usually have more than a choice to choose cos I like to alternate and try new products.  Currently, I have Biore UV - Bright Face Milk, Clarins UV Plus HP and Badger Aloe Vera Board Spectrum SPF 30  Zinc Oxide Sunscreen Lotion.

Biore UV is my all time favorite.

I prefer the white bottle but quite difficult to get.  A lot of place don't carry it.  And the price keeps increasing.  Waston is selling around $15 but you can get it around $13 at Chinatown.  My husband's current Taiwan trip also could not find it.  It is light weight.  Easily absorb and non-greasy.  After apply for a minute, I can apply my make up.

Clarins UV Plus HP is slightly thicker but made the skin more radiant.

Take slightly longer to absorb.  Of course this is more expensive.  I got it from DFS so slightly cheaper but I cannot remember its price.

Lastly is Badger's Zinc Oside Sunscreen Lotion.

First time try, got it from iherb.  Around $20 plus.  Should have get a baby sunscreen so that I can share with my boy.  I find it quite thick.  Thickest among the three and take the longest to absorb.  Once absorb, no greasy feeling.  Still quite easy to apply.  Quite big tube so can last for awhile.  Next time will get a baby sunscreen so that can share with my son as he does not use that often.

After sunscreen, I will proceed with my makeup.  Of course now as I am not working, I don't really put on that much make up.  Next post, I will talk on my night skin care regime.

Cheers.

Wish list - Cross body bag

I am thinking of buying a cross body bag cos my Harrods massager bag is spoil.  Sad.  The bag is not cheap and it is brought by my husband when he was in London.  It has been more than three years.

Initially my budget is around $200 but realized not easy to find one that I like.  But not really willing to spend more as I worry I will not use it that often.  So browsed through Asos, H&M, Mango and Nordstrom to check out as I don't really go out shopping.

Saw some nice bag.  Looking for more smart casual lady like bag.  Mostly less than $100.  Not sure of its shipping fee.

From Nordstrom.

From Asos.

From H&M.

From Mango.

So which are nicer?  I wonder.  Maybe one of these day I will go Mango and take a look.  H&M a bit inconvenience.  Will think it through and decide as Asos having discount.  Must make full use of it.

Cheers.

Tuesday excursion

So angry, I almost finish writing a blog and it accidentally gone.  Now I must rewrite.

Was talking weekend I have less time to blog, as I tend to spend time with my son and husband.  Being a housewife, I also don't have much time too.  House chores, marketing, picking my son from child care more often and cooking.  Time files.  Plus this week I had my monthly checkup so was out for the whole day.

It was a fun day outing with my husband. We went to the museum as there is a one off exhibition called The People's Collection.  During our dating days, we used to do this type of outing but now less.  I believe with the second baby coming, it will get worse so now must try to do it as and when.

It was a simple exhibition about past Singapore.  Some pictures.

Food for the day.

I don't really go town nowadays so if I go out, I will usually do some shopping.  This time round didn't buy much.  Mostly for the kids.  Bought Buds Mozzie Clear Lotion for my son.  Been using this for awhile.

Find it quite effective for insert bites.

Bought a set of baby clothes.  This time round didn't have much hand me down.  Those that I passed to my cousins went missing.  Sad.  Wonder who else to get from.... Hmm...

Need to stop here as today I am trying out a new receipt.  Stir fry chicken mushroom.  Hope it is edible.  Cheers.

Skin regime - Day - eye and moisturizer

For night, after cleanser, off and on I will use toner.  I know I should use it daily but sometimes laziness wins.  Toner is very important as it helps to clean the last bits of dirt from your face.  Ok I will try to use it more often and during my confinement, I will use it as I will wash less face during the period.

For morning, I will then apply eye care and moisturizer.  For eye care, I will alternate between Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye and Alba Botanica Natural Hawaiian Eye Gel.  I like Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye.  It is not too creamy or oily.  Just nice for me.  It moisturize the eye area well.  Costed more than $50.  Cannot remember.

Alba Botanica's eye gel is light weight and refreshing.

Good for Singapore's hot and humid weather.   Affordable too, if I didn't remember correctly , it is less than $20.  However it's pump is not too good so sometimes will pump slightly more than you require.

As for moisturizer, I am currently using Laneige - Water Bank Moisture Cream.

My first time try for Laneige's product.  My friend happened to go Korea so ask her to help me buy.  Actually she got the wrong one for me as I wanted the gel cream but during my first and second trimester, my skin was really very dry.  So this cream helps a lot.  A blessing in disguise.  It is indeed much cheaper to buy from Korea as a cream and a cleanser costed me less than S$60.  The cream is really quite moisturizing.  Nice fragrant.  The only thing I don't like is it comes in a tub.  So I have to use a spatula.  Troublesome.  Prefer lotion in the bottle.  And next time if I will buy again, I will buy the gel cream instead as it is more suitable for combination skin.

Actually before my skin gets so dry, I am trying Zia - Herbal Moisture Gel.

Quite good.  Light weight and lightly scented.  Good for combination to oily skin.  Even my husband likes it.  Costed around $20.  I bought from iherb to try.  However the bottle not tightly secure so easier to spill out especially when it is delivered to me.  However I think iherb no longer carry this.  Sad.

Nowadays I buy more from iherb as to cut costs and more organic products.  Hope they will carry more brands and products and not freeze out products.  So that I can have more choices.  Lol.

Have a nice weekend.  Cheers.

More food

After my last post, I have been thinking of all those foods that I miss. I also miss my family's weekend walk. Now we tried to stay in m...
