Tioman, our 1st island

Last June, we went for our first island holiday!

We booked a hotel and activities package and arranged our own transport to Tioman Island.

I did not expect much as Singapore is also an island. But Tioman is beautiful. The water is so clear.

To our first snorkeling. Very excited about it. However, there is not much guidance. Luckily the family with us advised us.

But poor baby as her goggles are a bit big so she cannot really snorkeling.

Eldest was happy that he get to snorkel. Our 1st night at the jetty. Nothing to do. Over here the network is the best. In the room, there is no network.

Nothing to do so take a lot of "funny" pictures.

2nd day. Enjoy the sun and breeze.

Our packages included a hiking trip. So here we. Don't know what to expect.

Atv. Maybe next can try this. But youngest cannot, I think.

 Still walking. But now the kids have warm up and friendly to the guide.

 Overall the hike is about 45 minutes for a way. Not pavement like Bukit Timah. Some climbing as need to carry youngest. The guide was good. Help a lot.

All our meals are provided in this package. Our only Chinese meal for this trip. And this is the only picture I told. Haha.

3rd day. Hoping to see sunrise.and realised we are at the west side so no sun rise. 😭😊

We saw quite a bit over here. Small shark, sea urchin. 

Since we are at the west side, so we have beautiful sun set.

Nice place but too many flies!! Our BBQ dinner. Food is great but just too many flies!

Our last meal, breakfast before we check out and go back to Singapore. Can't bear to leave. Very simple and peaceful lifestyle. Only bad thing about island is that there are many flies. Else really a nice place to hung around.

But this driver is really good. Smooth ride all the way. Also very fast. Really worth $180. Door to door. No jam. 

I had fun and many different experience share with my husband and kids. Hope we have more these!
