Kampong Glam - part 2

Trying to look for a dinner place.

Chickens walking at the alley.

You don't often see such run down shophouses anymore.

Nice cafes.

Nice art work.

Halloween theme cafe.

The cafe we chose for dinner.

The menu from Twenty Grammes'.

Really nice interior.

Nachos. A bit spicy.

Instagram picture?

Buns with deep fried fish skin.

Waffles with ice cream.

The food don't really suit my youngest.  Poor girl always don't get to eat.  Think i must bring bun or snack for her when we go for walk.  But too much biscuits are also not good for her.  Don't know what to do with her.  Hope she will eat more.

Review: Hair cut at 1 Gravity

Frankly speaking i really don't know what to do with my hair. My hair is always very coarse.

Anyway recently i cut my youngest hair to boy style as she tends to pull her hair when hot.  However must of her girl friends are with long hair and i feel adults like to stereotype girls must have hair to tie and to look like a girl.

So i feel that i must let my youngest knows that a girl does not need have long hair to determine her gender.  A short hair girl can also be pretty and feminine too. Thus i also decided to cut my hair.  Actually for me, short hair is more troublesome.  Need to maintain the cut.  I didn't cut it real short as it has been awhile since i have short hair so i may not use to it.

So where to cut? Decided to try salon at Tanjong Pagar Centre.  So the first salon i saw, i went for it.

Here i am, waiting for my turn. I find the wash normal to weak.  Not much massage.  I think i am a better shampoo person.

The shop.  Actually when i reach around 6pm, a number of …

Hair care review

Another reivew but this time is on shampoo. Even though i am not very active with my hair care, i am always looking out for the prefect hair care for me and my husband.  We have quite different hair texture.  My is coarse and his is oily.  Both of us concern about thining hairline. After trying a number of brands, we quite like Natur Vital shampoo.  After trying a number of brands, we quite like Natur Vital shampoo.  It is free from parabens and silicones.  We have tried both its hair loss and sensitive range.  Both are quite good.  Not over drying and it cleans well.  I think its pricing range is around $23. But i will usually buy them when there is a promotion, which is quite often.  Even with promotion each costs around $18, which is also not very cheap.  So usually i will alternate my shampoo.  Either Sunsilk which i find good for its price even though it is not organic or shampoos that i bought from iherb.   As for Natur Vital's sensitive range, we have tried the shampoo for oil…

My eldest enjoying his soup spoon mushroom soup.  With fresh tomatos.  Simple instant meal for the kids.

My mother on and off has been unwell. So sometimes my sister and nephew will offer to cook for Sunday.  Here are yummy diy Tamago rice by them.

Honest Bee delivery.  Western food from 7th Heaven & Cafe @ Tampines.

Colleague's Fruit Souffle light cheesecake from Flor.  Very nice.  Will try its other cake for my own birthday.

Root beer. Quite nice.

We tried the noodles at LeNu Chef Wai's noodle bar @ VivoCity.  Even thought its beef noodles is very popular. We prefer its pork broth.

We were too busy eating that we forget to take pictures of our food.  We had 3 noodles, 2 sides and 3 drinks.  Costed less than $50.  Slightly cheaper than ding tai fung.

Trying out new drinks at Teafolia @ Tampines MRT station.  We tried the berry milk shake and mix fruit tea.  Very refreshing but not cheap.  Each costs more than $5.

Snow skin mooncakes from Baker's Well.  I find them sos…
