Solar fan

My husband says I am stingy as i try not to consume too much electricity and i do not like to own a car etc.  I feel that i am more green than him.  As a resident in this earth, we should be more aware of our environment.  We can be more efficient in a better way.  So whenever i can i will try to minimise wastage and be green as possible.

Singapore is rather warm so sometimes i will bring a portable fan when i bring my kids around. Heard there is a solar fan.  I was quite excited about it.  Saw it at Lazada.  Costs around $6.

There is even fan in built in cap.

In the end, i chose to buy the portable fan.  Finally it is here. I tried to put other the light but no reaction.  Guess it is not strong enough as there is no switch to turn on and off.

Tried using it on a morning, the fan actually turned but was rather weak.  Then it stops working again.  Guess it really need super sunny day to power it.

During the weekends i will try to bring it out and try again. Rather disappointed with its ineffectiveness and inefficiencies. Guess have no choice but to look for clip on battery fan.

Upon request by my eldest.  He chose this bbq restaurant along katong.  Think he has been eyeing for awhile.

This is only my second time trying it and my husband 1st try.  Haha. I know we are quite not up to date with all the trends etc.  Anyway my husband and I prefer cooked food. Less stress. However is really a nice try with the kids.  I think we should more of such experience with them.

Actually i still have a number of shoes that i have worn. Meanwhile shoes are not in my wishlist and i must go and find out what other brand new shoes hiding in my cupboard.  Haha.

Snacks time

At my previous post, i talked about boxgreen and snacks. (http://ziwei-beautydiary.blogspot.sg/2017/04/boxgreen.html?m=0)

So here are some of the snacks i found at ntuc finest.  

Nuts with fruits.  Raisins also consider as fruits?

Orginic range. Quite expensive.  Maybe one day i will tried the fruits and seed.  Pineapples chips, anyone?

For fruits, i prefer fresh ones as my concern with such preserved and freezed fruits is that it may pack with lots of sugar! However they are good for on the road. For my china trip I bought 4 to 5 packs of organic fruits bits.

Maybe i should get some seed and nut for the family to try.  Will go ntuc to check out as ntuc finest is quite out of the way.  Happy shopping.

Pull over knit top/ sweater

If Singapore is a cooler place, i will love to wear pull over sweater or kint top.  A top that does not require to be ironed and less fuss on it.

Too bad Singapore is too warm and humid.  However sometimes when i am too lazy, i will wear a airsim top with bottom while i am bringing my youngest to school. Once I drop her off, i will put on my pull over knit top to have a more smart looking outfit to work.  However most of my kint top are quite worn out.  I think i only got a few.  One in olive, one in gray strip amd last which is quite thick and bulky in navy.  Cos i seldom buy it.  Mostly i wear cardigan.  Maybe is time to get new ones.  Opps spending money again?!?

Here are some outfits that may work on me.

I think cream, grey and black are good.  Ok will check out as and when i can.  Budget is $20 to 25. Hope can get cheaper.  Happy shopping. Tata.

Ad hoc photos

I love taking picture as and when I see things which i like.  Some may find it boring.  Simple has its own beauty.  Maybe i should improve my photography technique! :p

Steam eye mask from my sister. She says currently this brand is quite popular in japan.  I tried but find it quite similar with kao MegRhythm steam eye mask.  But i prefer the latter with scent. Really relax and soothing. I really love this mask as its warm helps me to relax and sleep easier. However there is not much promotion for it.  5 mask for $6.50.  Maybe if my husband goes taiwan will ask him to help me check out.

MRT faulty again.  Need to alight at Eunos station.  So crowded.

Sick, seeing a doctor.  The clinic almost like a spa.  Very relax and beautiful.

My eldest tells me the botak tree is a bird tree.  No leave but a lot of birds.

Check out makeup at drug stores. Some looks quite similar to Shiseido 7 lights powder illuminator but for a friction of its cost.  Just not sure how good and efficient it is.  Wonder should i buy and try.

Recent days I have been unwell so sometimes feel so tire to even make up.  Just use the bare minimum.  Thats why quite hesitate to buy new makeup to try. Maybe when i almost finish my makeup then will restock.

Window shopping

Still thinking to quit or not.  So trying to control my spending. Really don't dare to buy more dresses etc.  Will also try to cut back on grocery too.

Even though I cannot buy, i will still browse the web on the latest design etc.  Haha.

For now i have not buy any dress. But did spent some money on some tops from #Uniqlo as got sales and sandals for my youngest.

Uniqlo top. I love bra top cos they are very convenient and comfortable but not suitable for office wear.  As for the turtle neck top, i love airsim turtle neck. Its material is thin and stretchy.  Comfortable for Singapore weather.

Actually though of buying brown for the turtle neck but not sure will wear it often. So just stick to black.  As white maybe too translucent.

And bought a puma sandals for my youngest. Hope they are good.

She chose her current favourite colour.  Hope she does not changes her mind too soon.

Ok now no more spending motto again.
