Life with daughter

Not sure if is it most girls like to do up their hair.  But my girl really loves doing up her hair.  Always asking me to tie her hair.  Most days i don't as we are rushing to school and work.  However during weekends, i will try out my skill.

Requested to use different colour rubber bands.  Here they are.

How is it? Just simple style that i know.  I guess it is definitely better than my own hair!  Lol.

We were very disappointed with our foods. The ramen tastes like instant noodles and I do not think it used pure Japanese rice.  The total bill was around $50 plus for 2 ramens, 1 udon and a rice.  I think for this price, we can get better food.  Definitely will not go again.

Loccitane's Pivoine Pure Perfecting Mattifying Fluid

My husband got this during his work trip at London as he forgot to bring a moisturizer.

It has been awhile since i buy Loccitane's product.  I love its products because most of the time, the products' scent are so soothing and nice.

Scent: sweet flora scent
Colour: white
Texture: lotion

Review: a light weight non-grease lotion.  Skin absorbs it easily and feels matte.  Really suitable for oily and combination skin type in tropical weather.  May not be enough for dry skin type or dry weather.

However find it a bit expensive as a 50ml costs around $58.  Will definitely buy it again during sales.

Christmas decorations @ Orchard Road

Brought kids to see the Christmas deco at Orchard road.  This time round we bought our camera along and let eldest take pictures with it.

Marina Mandarin Orchard

Was quite crowded.  Managed to buy some stuff and even went Shi Li Fan at Orchard central for steamboat dinner.  But was disappointed with their services over there.  Preferred the outlet at Icon Village

After dinner, we even went to the roof top garden for a walk.  However was too dark and youngest was scared.  Haha.

A simple activites with family and kids for the weekends.  Cannot wait to have more activities.  Cheers.

Tampines Hub events

One thing good about Tampines hub, is that it always have different events such as moives night and live performance etc for residents.

On a Friday evening, Saw a live band performing blues music.

Of course they are not as good as Amy Winehouse etc but not too bad.  Very entertaining for me.  Not really to my eldest, who are running about.

I think if you stay at east side, you should come and enjoy tampines hub's events.

I love attending such event but eldest always very mischievous and scare disturb others.  Will see how.

Shopping and wish list

What have i been doing???

Christmas shopping..

To the most motivated kid i knew.  Finding the right guide book for him.

In the end, i bought science guide book for him as science is his weakest subject.

For a dragon baby.  Actually thought of buying these for my eldest but i think he has enough clothes.

For my youngest and who she always calls her sister. Bought the same for them so they can wear the same dress together, just like sister.

Saw this matching shoes for mother and daughter.  Wanted to get for my youngest and me.  But i think youngest just need another pair of sport shoes and i ordered some shoes from cotton on.  Maybe next time.  However now pazzion are having promotion.  Every $120 deduct $10 off till year end. A good time to get.  Kids shoes at $60 plus and adult is at around $70 plus.  Will see how.

I am still waiting for my CNY top from tao bao.  Meanwhile i am sourcing for alternatives in case didnt come.

Looking for wallet on chain.  These are not. So still hoping to find one that is affordable and usedul for me.  But not much choice.

Currently i am using my old blue longchamp.  Notes and cards are loose inside so can be easily drop out.  Must think of better way to hold my stuffs. But i want to keep it light.  Hmmm...

Was looking for my baby bag.

Love this bag from Nordstrom.  On promotion and it costs around $80. However after including cost to delivery to Singapore, it will increase to $130 to $140.  So gave up of buying it.

Saw this bag at Takashimaya.  Having 30% off.  After discount, costs around $300 plus.  But bag is not as big as my Anello so worry can it holds all my stuff.

In the end i found a desley laptop bag at $80.  I removed the laptop compartment to make space for my stuff.  Hope it is good.

Finding dress to add on my large new dress collection.  Haha.

Kids World Fair

We managed to go to the kids fair at Expo with my friend and kids.  Even attended some trial classes together.

Here are some ad hoc stuff that ww did together.

Played games to get freebies.

Happily playing balls.

Ah i should not have throw always my balls recently.  I can use a potable pool and fill with ball for my youngest.  What a waste.

Favorite: Jumping castle.

 

As usual, some are really too old, big and rough to play but parents don't care.  And staff have not much control.  So i have no choice but to stop youngest from jumping.  Poor girl as she don't understand why can't she play more.

Youngest attended a trial class but area is too noise.  Not very good.

Eldest attend science and coding trial classes and enjoyed them.

It was quite fun.  Many ad hoc tasks for kids to try at a low cost.  Quite crowded for weekend.  Will definitely join again if time permits.
