Moody day

Morning if we are not too rush, I will ask my eldest to take photo of my outfit.  Sometimes it can be taken quite good. Check out the picture below.

This dress was from #Dressabelle that was bought many years ago. The quality still looks good.

However, today I have received my increment for my confirmation.  Mine is the worse among my team and is delayed till next month.  Feeling sad that there is not much tangible rewards cos I am the most senior. Just talk and no action.

Yet i cannot get another job.  No news from my recent interview. No call from those ads that i sent out.  Worry that new job maybe too time consuming. Sometimes I wonder should i quit and stay at home and spend quality time with my kids.  Quite depressing after puting up efforts to it.  Some people just has the luck.  Smooth sailing life, good pay job etc.  Don't know when will be my turn.

Sigh....

What in your bag?

I have tons of things in my bag. However nowadays most of the items are for my kids.

So what are in my bag?
1. Tissue papers
2. Wallet
3. Paper for drawing
4. Books for the kids
5. Kindle
6. Mobile phone
7. Umbrella
8. Cap
9. Hand wipes
10. Pouch with cards, plasters, mosquitoes repellent patch etc
11. Shopping bag
12. Ear phone
13. Medical face mask

Last time with one kid, I still matched my bag with my outfit. Now with two kids, really have no time to do that.  Usually i will change bag due to practical reason. My usual bags are Longchamp's Le Pliage medium size or the small with sling.

They can hold lots of stuff even the small one and they are light weight. As I always abuse my bag, now I am looking for an alternative in case my bag spoils. Thinking of not getting a Longchamp but other brands are usually much pricey and my bag is usually not taken care of.  So quite a waste in my hand.

I am thinking of getting a Chanel flap bag.  Maybe if my husband go Europe will ask him to go and see. Haha he hates such task.

Ramen from #TonkotsuKing @ #OrchidHotel

Was on leave to attend my kids' school event.  So met my husband for a quick lunch to try out popular ramen at Tanjong Pagar.

My husband chose Tonkotsu King. Its outlet interior is really small. All guests must be presented to be seated.

Its ramen was not bad.  I tried the black spicy ramen but not spicy at all even though my husband said it is.  Some pictues that I have taken.

Service and foods are all served in an efficient manner.  It was fun. Hope more to come.

Try out @ #Dressabelle store

Here are some dress I tried at Dressabelle store.

2nd dress looked good (even my husband quite like it) but it makes my tummy looks big.  

In the end, I didn't buy anything at the store.  

However I bought another black midi dress from its website.  Hope it will be good.  

Last weekend, Love and Bravery has 5% discount at their store but I didn't have time to go.  What a waste.

Hope Love Bonito will have discount soon then I can consider whether to buy a dress from there. :p

I went to read my past posts from 2009.  Last time life is so much simpler and free.  Some things never change, blogging is still my favourite way of expressing my thoughts and feeling.

Now I am living life day by day. Focus on myself.  Trying to stay happy and positive.  Actually don't know is it I am quite an unhappy person so I feel life is always so unfair.  I am learning to let go. Be contented. Be good to myself, only surround myself with things i like.  Avoid things i dislike for the time being to avoid negative.

Maybe is a sickness.  Maybe is I am too free.  My job hunting is still going no where.  Still stuck in this low pay job but can leave on the dot to be with my kids.  So still not that bad.  The only bad things are pay low and don't learn much.

So i am trying to make the most out of it by doing something i like such as blogging, window shopping etc.  Lol.  Not that I have a lot spare time but i really hope to do something that i like without worries etc. Just like before. Actually last time I will always go la kopi with some friends. Now i also dun have much friends.  Anyway i also can't bear to waste money as i really don't earn a lot.

So what do i like to do?
1. Reading
2. Watching show
3. Window shopping
4. Travelling
5. Blogging
6. Swimming
7. Simple yoga.  Actually nowadays if i have spare time in the morning, i will do some simple yoga stretching.
8. Walking
9. La kopi and look at people
10. Skin care hands on for myself

I guess that all.  Not much adventure.

I really hope things will get better and better.

First visit to Dressabelle store

I have been working at Tanjong Pagar for almost three months but always too lazy to walk over to 100AM to Dressabelle store.  So today I make an exception.

It is located at level two. Store is pretty big and easily located. Especially if you compare to Love and Bravery store at Tampines 1.

There are many designs but I think they are from older range. Not much from recent serials. And the sizes are limited.

I was a bit disappointed with the visit as most of the clothes are in bigger size.  Only managed to try some but not really to my liking.

There is a lunch time discount. 15% off during 11.30am to 2.00pm from Monday to Friday.  So if nearby can always drop by to take a look.

Products testing

I am back to my sampling days. To sample and review products. However this time run the duration is quite long, 28 days of testing two products.  A serum and a night cream.

Went to cllect during lunch hour. Now they don't even provide bags for the products. Should have notified in advance. Was so rush, I don't even have time to buy lunch back.  Felt that not really worth the whole trouble for just $20 Takashimaya vouchers.

Maybe last time the travelling time is lesser. Now i must change train and with all the waiting time really very rush.

Anyway will complete this test and see whether next time still want to continue or not.

PS. yesterday my husband helped me went to love and bravery to buy the dress I have been eyeing on it.  But it was sold out.  Sad but grateful that can save money.

Saw the #Anello backpack. It costs $149 so expensive.  Not sure what they, stuff in the bag, seem heavy and super bulky.

Still looking for alternatives, hope can find something good and affordable.

Beige is the new black

I used to match most of my outfits with black shoes as black is a colour that will not go wrong. However, recently I realised wearing beige is as good as black and it will make your legs look longer even when I am wearing flats.

However, I always have difficulties in finding shoes that are suitable for me.  Currently I have been wearing Rubi's shoes. Some of its models are quite soft but the sizes are a bit out.  Size 36 is too short and size 37 will eventually expand and too loose. So anyone knows shoes that are soft and affordable to recommend me?

Meanwhile I have a spare shoes that is brownish.  Not so sure will it be as easyas beige to match outfit.  Will update soon.  

As for bag, I still prefer black bag as it does not worn out or gets dirty that easily.  I love nylon bag even though they look less formal but they are so light which are prefect for me.  Still looking for my next bag...

Thing that I enjoy doing

Window shopping is something that I really love to do. However, it can be too time consuming.  So sometimes I will either bring my kids with me or while waiting for my eldest to finish his classes.

Recently I went #loveandbravery to try out its clothes but didn't find much that suits me.

Converse shoes

During this GSS, I bought my new walking shoes.  I went for a basis plain white Converse shoes. There was a 10% discount so paid $60 only.

Hoping that it will be easier to match with my outfit. Even with some of my working dress.

It does match with some of my working dress but I feel that after wearing #Bzees for a year, Converse shoes does not feel that comfortable. Sad. Furthermore #Bzees shoes are quite difficult to get in Singapore.  So now I am thinking whether to buy back my current #Bzees or not.  Also not sure whether it has my size or not.
