This is the pot of flower that make me feel so sick. I guess I cannot sit long with lily as my nose is super sensitive with its smell and pollen. What a waste!! Flower can really cheer me as I find them so beautiful and refreshing. A jewel to my eyes especially in office.

Sunsilk Damaged and Reconstruction Shampoo

A long over due product's review. Actually I have been trying and using different products on and off. But somehow when I need to pen down my review, I do not really know how to write the best description of it. So please do forgive me for my lack of vocabulary.

Many years ago I happened to try a Sunsilk's shampoo at my friend's place. It made my hair silky and smooth, which do not happen often as my hair are quite coarse. However, I forget to take down the range of the shampoo. So on and off I will try Sunsilk shampoo, hoping I can find back that shampoo.

So now I am using Sunsilk Damaged and Reconstruction Shampoo.

Texture: Creamy gel

Aroma: Strong shampoo fragrance

Colour: White cream

Verdict: I have been using this for a while. It does not make my hair as smooth and silky like before. It could also because now I have perm hair. Hair condition should have worsen but instead it maintains. Of course now I will always apply conditioner except on weekends when I am busier with my boy. :p Even without conditioner for a day, hair seems fine. 3 stars out of 5 stars.

Will I buy again? I will try other ranges from Sunsilk and decide which range I prefer. Nevertheless, I still got a number of shampoos on hand to try. So let me finish them before I start exploring others.

Hubby trips souvenir

This month my husband travelled more than usual. Anyway every time he travels, he needs to bring at least an item back home. Lol.

So here they are....

Chest

I always thought a chest make a good practical coffee table as I can use it for storage too. Save space. However till now I have not found the right one for me.

How come I have a touch for chest? It all started when I was young. My grandmother used to have one. I do not have a picture if it. A short description: made of solid wood and very heavy as I recall. No design is on it. Simple but classic just like my grandma. Among cousins, we all wanted that! From then, I always hope I can own one.

Saw a few in magazine and newspaper as shown below but quite expensive and not so sure whether it fit my house theme. Actually I saw one that is quite affordable but it is printed with pictures, which I am not so keen.

Anyway will just keep looking around but some days I will definitely get my dream chest!

Fashion sense, what style are you?

Frankly I do not have much fashion sense. I always end up looking too simple, casual and slack. Maybe is because I always choose comfort over any other matter.

Lucky Chicken Rice

Finally I try the chicken rice at Lucky Plaza. But today while ordering, I forget to say I do not want breast meat. So in the end, I had breast meat! :(

Since I have breast meat, I cannot really tell whether the meat is nice or not. Because most of time, I have thigh meat portion. Anyway I will go back and try again and then I can compare it with the one at Far East Plaza, which I quite like its chicken meat as they are quite tender and chewy.

Price are quite affordable. Two set of chicken rice, a dumpling soup and a plate of vegetable cost S$14.10. Next time I may try its roasted chicken meat and bean sprouts.

Kose Family Sale Purchase

It has been a while since I posted Kose Family Sale notice. Frankly, I did not plan to buy anything from there as now I am more into organic skin products. However my colleague asked me to accompany her so I went.

Realized their make up from Fasio and Beaute de Kose were quite cheap. So I cannot resist and got the following stuff.

Looking back. I do not think I have done any review in makeup I used. Guess is because I am not adventurer with makeup and I always put minimal of it. However now I will try to try out more often and hope I will do more posts on makeup!

Nice bag from Kate Spade

I always like black and white theme so this bag appeals to me. And the size is not too small. But I think it is a open top bag so its out! Generally I prefer a zip top closure bag as things in my bag are always so messy and scare things will fall out easily. Trying using a bag organizer but after a while I'm back to square one! Lol. Guess a leopard can never change its spots.

So what sort of do you use or prefer?

Sachet samples, what do you normally do with them?

Last time I will just open and use directly from the sachet and once I am done, I will fold down the opening for future usage.

Now instead of doing the above, I will try to get at least two sachets (I feel one sachet seem to be too little for the trouble) and pour them in a container for a few day usages.

However after using, I got to wash the container. Some maybe quite oily and I have to wash and scrub a number of times before it gets clean.

Anyway recently I tried samples of Clarins UV PLus HP Neutral version sunscreen protection. I have no idea how much it costs but I believe it's price range around S$40 to S$60 for 30ml. I find it quite steep. Usually I will use cheaper range for sunscreen.

Texture: Slightly thick lotion

Aroma: Nice light fragrance as always

Colour: White

Verdict: I find it rather thick and oily. It does really absorbs well in my case. Maybe it is meant to be like this but I do not like this feeling. I prefer matt feeling. However this is a rather popular product by magazine. Still, I do not think I will get it for my own use.

Anyway recently, my face pores seem to be more obvious especially around my T-zone area. Sad. I wonder is it because of the products that I use are not suitable for me or what orher reasons. And it is quite difficult for me to tell which is the product(s) that do not suit me as I added a few different products in my routine. Wonder what should I do... Sigh...

For now, I tried to scrub more, simplified my skin care routine and see how it goes. Hope it will get better. Wish me luck!

Prata Wala Cafe

It has been quite awhile since I say prata is nice. However, the prata at Prata Wala Cafe really make me feel differently.

They are really crispy and nice. However the prices are a bit steep. If I didn't remember wrongly, this is one of the most expensive pratas I ever have. Once in awhile, I am still fine with the price. Even my husband says is nice.

I do not have it's full list of their cafe location but Tiong Bahru and Tampines Mall have it. So do give it a try.

Liushen Fresh and Relax Shower Cream - Peaceful Sleep Essence

Time passes so fast, first quarter of 2012 has came and gone. April has arrived. So before I get too busy with works, I want to do a product review. Anyway I have not been doing much review these few days.

Over the weekend, I tried a new shower cream. It is called Liushen Fresh and Relax Shower Cream - Peaceful Sleep Essence.

Cost: I bought it at S$7.50 (promotion price) for 750ml from Waston. Think its normal price is S$8.50. I do not see it selling at Chinatowns' shop. Wanted to try for awhile because the description make it sound so good (you can see them in the pictures).

Texture: Slightly creamy than normal shower gel.

Aroma: Light fragrance

Colour: Purplish

Verdict: I find it works quite like a normal Dettol shower form except it is slightly lighter. Does feel clean after wash but not squeaky clean. However, I do not find its aroma much relaxing compare to Palmolive Sensual shower gel with Moroccan Rose Essential Oil and Ginseng Extract. My husband quite like it as it clean his oily body but not too drying.

I look through it's ingredients but not so sure whether there is any Sodium Laureth Sulfate or Paraben. So if you know which are the "harmful" ingredients, do tell me. Else I will have to slowly check online individually. I'm quite lousy with all these ingredients' name.

Will I buy it again? If there is not much or insignificant amount of any "harmful" ingredient, I do not mind trying its other favors.
