School out

Primary school is closed and youngest's childcare is also closed. So husband and I took leave and we planned a day to the west.

It has been ahile since we have teochew porridge. Eldest ordered squids and many more dish to eat his rice.

Finally we reached jurong east swimming complex. So excited.

We enjoyed the lazy river and wave pool.

We love the pools. Plus the fare is so much cheaper than adventure cove.  Adventure cove's fare is like 10 times! Pools can be quite crowded and worn out. Some pool floor even can have tiles that are quite rough and sharp. But overall, it is fine. Still can bit a distance for eastern Singaporean. Sad east side got no such facility.

Then we proceed to Chinese Garden. The weather is so hot and sunny.

The sky is so blue and beautiful.

We even visit The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum. Each entrance ticket is $5 for adult and child who is older than 6 years old. Child below 6 years old is $3.

The area is a bit small and cramp. There are many different turtles and tortoise.
Turtles roaming around.

Kids are having fun feeding the turtles.

It is a fulfilling day as we have done quite a bit. On our way back, we even  saw a real life bumblebee. Haha.
