Home Team NS: Clip and Climb @ Tampines Hub

Husband not around.  Took half day leave to take care of the kids.  Thought of spending some quality time with eldest.  So decided, we should try something new together.

So here we are at Home Team NS.

We are going to try clip and climb.  Actually is really my first time climbing up the wall or sort of rock climbing etc.  Was quite 😰.  As you know I rarely do sport other than walking.

In the end i got the saver pass. 10 visits in half year time.  Hope we will keep coming.  Will be bringing my youngest to try too.

First we all have to put on the harness.  Then the instructor will tell us the steps on how to begin and end.  Each wall has an indication of level from 1 to 3.  Level 1 is the easiest.

Initially he only climbed till a certain height.

Trying others.  Some was quite difficult for him.  Must practice more hands legs coordination.

Lazy eldest only helped me took some pictures.  Then he was too exciting try out new walls.

Trying the rock climbing wall but was too tire.  

Eldest did not climb to the top as he is afraid. Hope next time he will overcome this.  The part i dislike most is jumping down the wall from the top.  I really cant jump down.  Always climb down a bit then jump.  I hope my next try, i can also overcome my fear.

Recently bought my youngest to climb but realised that during holiday period, they have fixed time slot instead.

So we end up not trying.   Will try next week again.
