Steamboat lunch

One of my colleague is going for long holiday so we had lunch together. We don't usually have lunch at cafe.  But for this we made an exception.

Had steamboat at one of the steamboat cafe call W hotpot.  Its logo looks quite similar like J pot.

The food.

The food serving is quite little.  And not cheap.  The 1 at icon is cheaper.  Don't think will try again.

Eat till very full.  Really love steamboat.  It will be better if the weather is super cool.  Haha.

My first purchase from By invite only.  Realised they are having a sales.  Each item around $18. Thought it is a good time to try their item.

The purchase is very fast. Payment by pay pal or credit card.  I think over $40 free delivery.  By registered mail. Arrived with 2 to 3 days.

Package in good condition.  Each necklace was packed individually in a nice pouch with a 3M Anti-tarnish square.

So i decided on the following.

1. Only long necklace.  Costed $18. Stone is Blue Kyanite.  Creates better communication and self expression. Assists one to speak the truth and be honest.

2.  Only sliver. Costed $18 too. Used Agate stone. A balancing and protection stone with calming properties.

3.  Most expensive item.  Costed $29.  Also with Blue Kyanite stone. An energy conductor that doesn't absorb any negative energy.

4.  Lastly tiger eye. Also $18.  A powerful stone that aids harmony and balance, and helps to release fear and anxiety. It also helps to make decisions.

Hope i will put them in good use. Still thinking whether to get some as christmas gift.

Actually last time i got some accessories that i love.  But a lot of them were misplaced along the way.  Sad.

My 1st thanksgiving

Frankly speaking, I do not celebrate thanksgiving day.  I do not know what is it at all. However, this year business in Singapore make it such a big deal. Promotions for black Friday and cyber Monday.

Most importantly, the offer are so much better than great Singapore sales.  Not just clearing of old stock.

Sephora, Korres, Robinsons, Coiton on.  So much more to offer.

I also cannot resist. Bought stuff online.  Orangic makeup from Korres. Initially I want to go Sephora to buy stuff.  But the queue is so long.

I gave up and bought online. Many are out of stock and there are limited products online. Maybe that is why people prefer to go store.  Think they should have more products and stock available online for customers.

Then cyber Monday By invite only also has discount.  Bought my necklace and earring.  Did not buy a lot as don't want to spend too much.  Think i have enough accessories too.

Mango online also having 20% off except new tab.

It was fun.  Spent way too much. Hope there will be more good sales available in Singapore.

The stuffs' price are mostly high for me.  So not sure will i try or not.

I am also looking for a thin gold necklace so that i can pair with my long gold necklace.

Anyway i saw a goldlion coin pouch similar as below.  Costs almoat $50. So expensive.  I saw one at amazon costs around $10.  But not sure the quality. Prefer thin material as i keep it inside my winslet.

Will look around.  Hope can find 1 that i like and suitable for me. Most importantly is cheap.  Haha.

3Rd week of November

This week theme is all about blue and Dressabelle.

Monday: simple navy zip dress

Tuesday: navy white block midi dress.

Wednesday my youngest sick so on leave to take care of her.

Thursday: blue red side dress with silver necklace.

Friday: blue flower dress. A super old dress from Dressabelle.  The button had dropped. Must sew it! Oh here i paired it with my Blue Kyanite stone necklace.

My usual Saturday outfit is casual jogger or shorts.  This week i wore an old navy mango top with H&M long printed pants.  With my tiger eye necklace.

So with accessories do my outfits look better.  I really hope so.

Acai + white tea oil-free moisturize

Smell: fruity scent
Colour: white
Texture: light gel
Review: not oily. Easily absorb to skin.  Matte feel after using it.  Light weight.  However i prefer less critic scent.  But overall this is quite a good moisturize for Singapore weather.  My husband who has a oily skin type likes this.  Bought this from iherb, cannot remember its price.  Will not mind buying again.

Love nature

On our way to school today, we saw dragonflies and 🐌.

Dragonflies fly high and fast. Difficult to take pictures.  But snails, we managed.

Initially we saw a empty snail shell. My eldest asked why is it empty? I told him it has died so left shell.  He was a bit down.

Then when he saw the big snail, he was so excitied and happy.

Then we found the baby snail hiding in the grass, trying to climb up.

Theses are the moments i enjoy with my 2.  I hope they will always have love for nature, walking and love life.  Treasure things they have and not drill over things they don't have.  Be contented.

Food for the week

My steam egg is getting better. Smooth as toufoo. Haha.

Brought my daughter to see doctor. Saw cute looking drinks at 7 eleven.

Tried the sarawak kolo mee at Tampines riund market.  Find the mee a bit too soft.

My mother in law vinger pork trotter. Yummy.

I am not alcoholic, just enjoy trying new drink with my husband at home as we do not have any babysitter.  Is our special time and hobby.

Train etiquette (part 3)

I feel we should be aware of how your big bags will affect other in trains.  1 big bag can easily take up a person space in train.  So we should either put it down, front etc.  Whatever ways that save space.

Actually cabins with seat should have some shelf on top so that passengers can put their bags there and also to use as a handle. I saw this in japan train.  But passengers who is sitting down must take note.  Don't hit the shelf.

Then don't lean on pole.  You may not notice but you are taking more space.  Somebody may not be able to hold on the pole too.

A little effort will make big changes.  So be kind.
