Coarse hair, how to improve?

My hair is quite coarse. However spending another 5 to 10 minutes in the bathroom at night to apply conditioner can be a challenger with the two monsters outside.

Right now i am trying out some leave on hair spray or oil and see if there is any improvement.

Actually not so sure whether they help or not as my hair still looks the same.

The oil is quite light weight and not greased.  Got this while Guardians had buy 3 for the price of 2.  Each costs $4.90.  I gave the argan oil, that i will like to try most, to my mum.  Heard argan oil is really good for hair.  Maybe next time I will buy again.

Sian my white hair are all out again.  Really quite fast. Furthermore this weekend i need to attend a wedding.

Sometimes i really have no idea what to do with my hair.  Really envy people with nice neat hair.

Any recommendation?

Feast week

Last week Thursday lunch, my colleagues and I had an impromptu steamboat lunch together.  It was at Icon, Tanjong Pager.

Set lunch costs $9.90 (exclude GST and service charges) with a drink.  However, i feel the portion was a bit small.  I had mala soup. The pot comes with 3 dividers thus you can choose different soup base when there are more people.   Overall, I find it not too bad.   Maybe next can ask my husband go.

Then Friday evening I went and had a meet up with my ex-colleagues at Prive @ CHIJMES.  I was late so didn't take pictures of the restaurant.

It was an open concept restaurant and even though Friday air was not that great, there were many people and even young children running around.

Food and service was quite alright. At night it can be quite dark.  I think a burger and a coffee costed me around $35 (include GST and service charge).

I saw a bit of the night festival.

Was really very crowded.  But i find the weather was too hot and humid to enjoy oneself.  Cooler will be great.

More bags, please (part 2)

My weekend/baby bags.

I will always carry a sling with my kids as I need to babywearing my little one.  So with a sling is much easier. This sling is from Nike and I bought it at Lazada for S$35. Actually not sure is it authentic.  But from Lazada, should be fine? Hmm..

It is a reversible bag but i only used the black side as easier to match all outfit and not so dirty.  Maybe when the black side is worn off, i will reverse it and use.  Haha save money.

For backpack, i also got a Nike black.  Not the biggest but something not too feminine as sometimes my husband will use it too and quite light. Actually i find it a bit small but with my kids i should reduce my bag weight as can be tiring running around with them.  Plus now both are older so no need to bring home cooked food etc. This cost around $70plus.  Did not manage to get good deal for this bag.  Sian.

More bags, please

I can never get enough of bags.  I used to have many bags as i need different styles and colours for different outfit. Of course most of my bags are quite cheap at that time.  However they don't last that long too and give me a reason to buy more bags. Haha.

Now where got time to go shopping for bags!  So I need durable and smart looking bag.  Plus light weight!

They are lightweight, smart looking and durable.  Plus they don't burn a hole in my pocket.  Here are some of mine.

 Currently I am always using this.  But i prefer the beige or the dark green.

I have the above but it is quite worn off.  Thought of buying a new black but don't think it is formal enough and quite wasteful as the blue one is still usable.  

Thinking of buying the following as they are bigger than my black bag.  Don't know which one to buy.  Too many styles and colours to choose from.

This costs around Euro145.

Actually other brands also have such nylon bag but most at a higher price.

Love this Prada but is from last season collection.

Saw the below at Reebonz.  There is no black and costs S$900 so hesitating.

Will you buy from Reebonz?  I have not try and so not so sure.  Anyway spend more than S$500 for a bag really quite wasteful.  As i can put the money in better use.

Maybe when I am a millionaire. Haha.  In lala land.

Desserts

NTUC finest got so many nice desserts. So much choices for green tea ice cream.  Not sure why normal NTUC does not have such choices.

Found the below at Tanjong Pagee. Wonder will the outlet at Tampines also has such wide selection.

Maybe should go and check out.  Just worry will melt when I bring home. Haha....

Shoes I got

My current shoes are all comfort shoes as everyday I have to walk quite a distance to bring my kids to school and sometimes I have to carry the little one.

So most of the times i will wear my flats.

The black flats were left in office because there are days i will wear my walking shoes to work and so I can changes to this.

My walking shoes.  

They don't look nice but they are so comfortable that you are like walking on cloud.  Why can't all the shoes make it so comfy.

And lastly, the sandals that kills my legs when the first time I wore them.

Not sure when will i have the courage to wear it again as the first time is really very painful.  However it is quite a waste not wearing them.  

Actually I still got a old black heels, two pairs of black cover shoes and a pair of orange wedge sandals.  Just don't dare to give them a try as worry it will hurt my feet, affect my mood and indirectly affect my kids.  

Oh I also have my white converse.  This pair is not really as comfortable as my previous one.  But after a few wear, things are slightly better.  

On hand, I still got two pairs of new flats for backup. One is gold and another is orange.  The orange is bought during sales. Actually wanted to get a beige shoes but I don't really have the opportunity to go search for it. Time is really scarce for me.

Went to Pedro to look for it but was discontinued. Really like this. Sad.

From Pazzion, not sure how easy can they match with my working dresses and even they are soft still wonder will they be comfortable as my Bzees.

Almost wanted to buy this during Robinson's sales but no more sizes.  Quite sad as it is pretty comfy and does match with dress.

Anyway will keep looking for my ideal shoes.  Hope I can find one that suit my budget.

Steam eye mask

Bought these Meg Rhythm's steam eye mask from Guardian. Each around $7 for a box of 5 masks.  I quite like it.

I will usually use it when i sleep at night.  Just open the pack and wear it. Very easy to use.  Can use over your existing day care. However it can be a bit warm so must get use to it.  The scent is quite strong too but soothing. It does help me to fall asleep.  They have fresh rose, chamomile and lavender.

My mum bought a bought a big pack from Japan and per piece is slightly cheaper than what i had.

I am not sure how it improved my eye area but it does help me to fall asleep. Relaxing.  However, i have been busy so have not been using it for awhile.  Think i will continue using it as and when I remember. Think it can be a good mask for long flight as will not mess up makeup or have any residues left on the face. Too bad, I don't think I will be travelling. Boo....

Thots for the day

I got a really boring life.  Working and taking care of my kids (preparing to school etc, cooking, house chores, play and activities) already take up most of my time.

Any spare time I will just do my reading on my Kindle

(reading Kindle is much better than reading on handphone but heavier.  Research said that reading physical book is better.  But my reading is mostly leisure so still fine. Will insist to let my kids to read physical books), online shopping or blogging.  Recently playing Pokemon Go for my son.

Last time I will still try to do DIY skin care but now is really difficult. I don't even have much time to do face mask.  Now my mask are express one in the bath room while showering.

However I guess my life has always been so boring.  I just enjoy window shopping and looking at things and people.  So i like to travel and watch play.  Not really into sports or gaming or cooking.

However now with two kids, traveling and doing my own staff become limited.  So when I can, i will try to go window shopping.

Here are some of my recent purchases.

Dressabelle and Love, Bonito are online shopping.  But all are with discount.  I really enjoy getting good deals.  Like a passion.  Haha.
Now technology make blogging so much easier.  I can easily upload pictures taken from my mobile phone.  Last time still need to use camera and computer.

Times files and so much changes. Sometimes i have to admit that i have aged.  Not really in my prime.

Just hope things will go smoothly and happy.

Found a new cider at NTUC finest. Bought this wild fruit as the other favour is Toffee apple.

Will try this first.  Maybe next time will try the toffee apple.  Hope is nice.

Review: use 2 drops on hand and apply to face. very light and easy absorb to skin.  Not so sure of its effectiveness.  Each bottle costs around $120 but I got it with 50% off.

Coast to Coast Coastal Soothing Facial Tonic Sea Kelp Orangic Lavender 150ml

Smell:it has a herbal scent
Colour: colorless
Texture: water
Review: very light. Not harsh to skin.  Like its scent. Got it during a 50% discount also and cost less than $20. Don't think will get again as i seldom go to united square nowadays.

I find Coast to Coast products a bit too gentle for my liking.  Even thought they are organic and good but somehow i always wonder does it really cleans my face well especially after a long day outside.

Will try to source for other organic brands.
